'Signifigant' marijuana grow operation halted in Andalusia
ANDALUSIA, AL (WSFA) - Andalusia Police say they have put a stop to what they call a 'significant' drug operation.
Authorities say 29-year-old Micah Rider has been arrested and charged with first degree possession of marijuana.
Andalusia Police say Rider operated an elaborate marijuana grow operation. He was found to have 45 plants in a residence near Straughn School.
Rider is currently being held on $13,000 bond. Authorities say he does have a criminal record, however none of the charges are drug-related.
