Sometimes December, with Christmas and the coming New Year, bring difficult memories of loss and sadness.  Sometimes there is simply a need for peace and serenity in what can be a very stressful and busy time.  St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, located at 1307 East Three Notch Street, will offer a special service on Tuesday, Dec 18th , at 6pm that will recognize and honor these feelings.  The service of readings, prayers, and music will remember the hope of the Christmas story and the promise of peace shared by the angels so long ago. Fellowship and refreshments will follow.  You are welcome.  For questions or for more info, contact the church office at  222-2487.

Christmas Greetings from the Covington Blind & Low Vision Outreach Group.  They will be hosting their upcoming meeting on Thursday, December 6th, at Hilltop Restaurant in Gantt at 1 pm. Your meal is at your own expense. You are invited to join with their Christmas cheer. The Covington Blind & Low Vision Outreach Group meets every  1st  and 3rd  Thursday of each month at the Andalusia Public Library. The group offers hope and education for family and those dealing with loss of eyesight.  Most loss of vision is due to many age related diseases.      For more info contact:   Wanda Scroggins (334) 428-3335.
