Artists are encouraged to participate in the 8th Annual Opp Fest Juried Art Show sponsored by the Opp Cultural Arts Council. The Art Exhibit will be held October 25 – 27, with a pre-show for artists from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 25.  Entries should be delivered on or before October 1 to the Opp Cultural Arts Center between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., Monday through Friday at 107 South Main Street.  For additional information, e-mail ocac@oppcatv.com or visit the center.

The next monthly meeting for the Covington County E-911 board will be held on Sept 26th beginning at 4pm in the Conference Room at the 911 office at 300 W Watson St in Andalusia. This meeting is for conducting regularly scheduled business for Covington County E-911
