The Samford Extension class for the semester will be “Johus,” taught

by Rev Berry Wilkinson. Classes begin Thursday, Sept 6th –

7pm until 9pm at the Covington Baptist Association Office, and

Continues, on Thursday nights for 12 weeks. The cost is $10 for

Registration, $40 tuition, plus the book.

Some scholarships are available and discounts for those 65 and older..

The AHS Cheerleaders will host their annual cheer clinic at AES on Saturday, September 15, from 9a.m.-12p.m. Pre-registration is $25.00. Forms may be picked up in the main office at AHS or downloaded from the AHS website under the sports link for cheerleading. Forms will also be handed out at AES on Friday, August 31. You may also signup the day of the clinic for $30.00 (arrive by 8:45 a.m. at AES for morning registration). Pre-registration forms and fees can be returned to the AHS main office by 2 o’clock Friday, September 14, 2012. Enclose form and fee in a sealed envelope. Make checks payable to AHS. Children must be completely potty trained to attend.
