Opp PD seek identity of armed robbery suspects | Crime

On Tuesday, July 3rd, at 1:28 a.m., Opp police officers responded to the Opp Exxon Service Center, after the attendant advised that he had been robbed and injured.

According to investigation reports, a white male and black male purchased fuel and left just before the robbery took place.  Approximately six minutes after the suspects left, the white male returned on food and forcibly robbed the attendant.  During the robbery, the attendant was injured when he was struck in the head with an unknown weapon.

At this time, it appears the cash register and an undisclosed amount of money was taken during the robbery.

The two suspects in this case were traveling in at two-tone brown and tan Chevrolet passenger van.

The service station attendant was transported to the Opp Mizell Hospital by Opportunity EMS where he was treated for head injuries.
