Gantt man airlifted to Montgomery after stabbing | Crime

COVINGTON COUNTY, AL (WSFA) -  Covington County Sheriff's deputies responded to a call in the Gantt area last night, June 18th around 8 p.m.  When they arrived, deputies found 33-year-old Dickie Lambert suffering from an apparent knife wound to the abdomen.

Paramedics transported the victim to a landing zone, where he was transferred to a helicopter and airlifted to Baptist South in Montgomery.

The suspect in the stabbing, 52-year-old Brian McClellan fled the scene.  This incident is still under investigation.
