Man arrested for murder after shooting his own brother | Crime
COVINGTON COUNTY, AL (WSFA) - The Covington County Sheriff's Office says a man is under arrest after admitting he shot his own brother.
Authorities say deputies were called to Bass Bridge Road south of Andalusia shortly after 10 a.m. on a shooting.
On arrival deputies located 50-year-old Cleve Wayne Norris suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the chest. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
The victim's brother, 51-year-old Clarence Alvin Norris was taken to the sheriff's office for an interview concerning the incident where he stated that he shot his brother.
Clarence Norris was charged with murder and placed in the Covington County Jail with no bond.
The body of the deceased was sent to the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences for autopsy.
