2010 Andalusia-Opp Airshow | Events

The South Alabama Regional Airport Authority and Cities of Andalusia and Opp are proud to host their 1st annual airshow on November 13, 2010.

This year's event will feature the US Air Force A-10A Thunderbolt II West Coast Demo Team and the US Army Silver Wings Parachute Team. Our civilian performers are some of the best in the business.

World Acrobatic Champion Rob Holland in the Window World MX-2 will headline the event which will also feature the Firebirds Xtreme Aerobatic Team, Skip Stewart Airshows, Greg Koontz and the Alabama Boys, Gordo Sanders in the ROLL TIDE T06, and many others.

This year's theme is a "Salute to all Veterans." The 2010 Andalusia-Opp is a Veterans Day Weekend event that will showcase the best of the military. The Airshow will feature flying dispkays ranging from World War II era aircraft and the Korean Conflict to the present day heroes currently serving in Iraq, Afganistan and other locations around the globe.

Gates open at 9am. Flying starts at noon. Admission is FREE so come please enjoy the day at your community airport!
